Founded in May 2023 by Urmi Patel and supported by staff member Kateryna Hryshchun, CURES Esthetics was created to redefine what it means to be a salon and spa in Hamilton, Ontario. Before You Book: General FAQs

Why do I need a credit card to reserve an appointment?

A credit card is required to secure your appointment slot, along with your name, email address, and phone number, so we can reach you if needed. Your card will only be charged if you cancel or reschedule outside of our cancellation policy.

What are your disinfection procedures?

Your health and safety are our top priority. We follow strict disinfection protocols, including:

  • Using hospital-grade disinfectant on reusable stainless-steel tools (tested daily for efficacy).
  • Using single-use, disposable tools wherever possible.
  • Incorporating safe, effective products in all of our services.

Cures Esthetics Ltd. holds a valid Certificate of Inspection with the City of Hamilton (issued June 7, 2023) and is regularly inspected.

What happens if I’m late for my appointment?

We completely understand that life can be unpredictable and delays may be unavoidable. However, out of respect for clients booked after you, arriving more than 10 minutes late may mean we need to shorten your service. If you choose not to attend your appointment, a 100% no-show fee will apply.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment without charge.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% charge of the service fee.
  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee.
  • If you need to cancel due to illness or an emergency, please let us know and we’ll waive the cancellation fee.

Please note: In the event of a no-show, we reserve the right to cancel any future appointments. Pre-payment will also be required to secure future bookings.
